In Traditional Chinese Medicine, these mind-body symptoms point to underlying patterns such as:
- Kidney Yin Deficiency → hot flashes, insomnia, anxiety
- Liver Qi Stagnation → irritability, PMS, emotional overwhelm
- Heart–Spleen Disharmony → forgetfulness, fatigue, poor digestion
